		<description>i LOVE this. there is a new yelp application where you can point your smart phone down a street and it will tell you what restaurants are there; this situation seems ripe for an artistic intervention, too. 

i visited Pier24 yesterday, a magical and giant new photography space on the Embarcadero, and they were talking about developing an app to do the same thing with artworks. you could point an ipod touch or iphone at a picture and it could tell you more about it, link to an interview with an artist, etc. 

when i was a child, i used to wish that there was a narration for the landscape that would whiz by the car while we were driving to my grandparents&#039; house: stories about where we were, or who lived there, or what that giant apple in Coburg ON was really about. 

my dreams might just come true, it seems...</description>
